I know I haven't posted recently, I'm sorry :( I've been soo busy with my new job, as a nanny. So I figured since I've been too busy to update you then, I must now! Well, here are a few lil' bits of what I've been up too, and what's been on my mind! yayy!
<3

I wanted to start on my spring adventure List! So, I'm off on my mini road trip!
This riot of a gal, is my best friend, and sister for life- Elizabeth Ann. We've been friends since middle school, and this girl has been there by my side through all the ups and downs of life. We battled our teenage years together, and even though her and I are a lot different, we're one and the same. From church choir to highschool swim team, our friendship has been full of inside jokes, and adventures. Which is exactly what this weekend entails! And here we go!

When our adventure begins.
Liz lives a good few hours away from me, so I rarely get to see her anymore, which stinks, but we haven't drifted a bit! Well, because of this factor, Liz will be coming down a day earlier than when we leave ( 20th ) To prep and get ready. We'll be leaving my house, in our band van, and headed to a show in Ann arbor where we will be serenaded by the incredible Josiah Leming- a definite favorite of mine. ( I'm really looking forward to finally meeting this kid, haha. ) and then, as always, finding a walmart/meijer, grabbing food, and spending the whole night making memories.

This is our darling, Big Mama, she's our pride and joy! Liz and I have taken this baby and completely cleaned this dollface out, and filled it with love, and a hint of comfort. This next weekend, we're hoping to do a lot more remodeling/ decorating to our baby, and get here all cleaned up for our trip!

These are just a few pictures we found for inspiration!

You bet on your life you will ALWAYS hear these words from Liz& I. It's always a battle, but we've definitely spent enough hours pouring over our tumblr's,  pinterests, and polyvores, to have atleast an idea! And that's exactly what I'll be sharing with you guys! Depending on the weather that weekend- it looks dim : / but we're keeping our hopes up, and keeping summer in our heads! We'll be sticking to our gypsy shorts, and wavy hair. I'll do my best to give you all, a feel, for what Liz and I are gunning for. Here goes!

We want to be ourselves, of course, and like I said before- Liz and I can be very different. She has a lot more flame and edge than I do, so she'll probably be leaning toward her studs and prints, and I'll stick to me, and my laces, and softer tones. We're your group of modern day hips, for sure. We'll see how it turns out!--

Liz and I are known for our edge and understanding of Hair and Makeup. If a friend has a date/prom/photo session? we're on speed dial. We've doddled in cosmetology since gradeschool, it feels like, so when it comes to OCD in make up& hair? That's us.
This next weekend, we're planning to lean on the more natural side. Lot's a bold browns, and golds. If we add color, it'll be subtle, but knowing me- I know I'll be keeping it as simple as possible.
When it comes to hair- Liz and I love our natural waves and curls. We'll definitely be sporting some kind of hippy, curl, braid set. Nothing complicated, again, something simple.

Few examples of the makeup.
Very simple, yet enhancing the natural beauty.
Soft. Simple. Sweet.

And again, simple natural waves, braids,
and some fun feathers and ribbons!

Liz and I, have a friendship that revolves around our jam sessions. We're always singing. constantly. And Roadtrips are definitely perfect for that special playlist! Liz and I have odd tastes in music, so our mesh of music can be quite funny indeed. We'll have a perfect ( & unique ) mix of mostly 70s/80s hits, pick and choosy Country, hella' lot of Etta James, Frank Sinatra, and oddly enough Michael Jackson. We jump around in our music, but one things for sure- if it doesn't make you want to sing along, or dance? you won't be hearing it!
Songs you'll definitely hear;
  • I love Rock n' Roll --by Joan Jett, and the Blackhearts
  • Man in the Mirror--by Michael Jackson
  • I want to know what love is--by Foreigner
  • Anyway you want it--by Journey
  • Sweet Child of Mine--by Guns and Roses
  • Jessies Girl--by Rick Springfeild
  • At Last--by Etta James
  • Eye of the Tiger--by Survivor
  • The Time of My Life--by Bill Medly
honestly the list goes on.

I'll do another update post tomorrow, this one Mini Roadtrip post, was much bigger than I figured, haha. I hope you all enjoyed it! I'll definitely post picture of Big Mama's makeover, and ours, when the time comes!
I love you all!
